Christian Varga supports companies and organisations in developing strategies and organisational set-ups that make them fit for today’s and tomorrow’s challenges. As process designer and facilitator, as management coach and sparring partner, he helps to find ways to further strengthen your organisation. Christian also works as a mediator and conflict coach for individuals and companies.
Christian founded ImpactLinx in 2016 and since then has worked with clients in Switzerland, Europe and overseas in large and small change projects. Prior to that, he had worked for 13 years in international cooperation, most recently on the executive board of a major humanitarian organisation. His responsibilities included organisational development and change projects, but also the operational management of humanitarian programmes in emergency contexts. Christian began his career in journalism as a correspondent of a news agency.
He holds a degree in Political Science and Social Anthropology, studied at the University of Berne and SOAS London and continued his education in strategic management and scenario planning at the University of Oxford. He completed his training as a certified mediator in Berlin. He teaches at various universities, including strategic management.
Christian served on the board of Fairtrade International, is non-executive director of Max Havelaar Switzerland and the certification company Flocert GmbH.
